Playground for Untitled Creatures
June 12–21, 2023
Opening: June 16, 6:30 PM
Playground for Untitled Creatures is a joint exhibition by Nadezhda Kostova and Margarita Koedzhikova, created as a visual translation of flashes of inspiration, personal heroes and antiheroes. These creatures, banished from their own world into ours and usually living in our heads, are here to bring in even more of the chaos they have adapted to.
Nadezhda Kostova /Zitronadaa/ graduated in Visual Arts and specialised in poster design. She currently works as a freelance illustrator and designer. She creates characters and narratives that are at once dark and sweet, because she loves contrast. She also works with calligraphy and enjoys mixing different techniques in her pieces.
Margarita Koedzhikova /inkingpigeon/ works in illustration and graphic design. She draws inspiration from every kind of visual culture, with cinema and photography right at the top of the list.
