Driving Out Evil

Cryptid Art Space presents

Driving Out Evil
Group Pop-up Exhibition

January 27 – February 1, 2025

At the start of every year, we wish each other health and all good things. To begin 2025, we invite you to drive out evil and call on positive forces together. There’s no better way to do that than with kukeri games and everything tied to this ancient ritual.

Five artists will present their own interpretations of the masked guardians. Aleksi Ivanov, Aleksandra Kamburova, Ana Avramova, Mihayela Mihaylova and Mikhail Tenev are united by the mysterious power of the kukeri’s masks, costumes and dances, to tell you Surva stories. Cryptid opens its doors to the exhibition “Driving Out Evil” and dares you to believe in the energy of these mythic figures called kukeri!

Opening: January 27, 6:00 PM.
